LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION SYSTEM (LPR)

The MaxPark LPRS system is based on the successful MaxPark Parking System. This system has been installed in many parking collection locations. The License Plate Recognition System (LPRS) is an enhancement to the MaxPark that incorporates image capture and License Plate Recognition. The total system consists of the MaxPark CPU, special LPRS cameras and the popular MaxPark parking barrier control system. Other components include side view CCTV cameras, lighting, voice response speaker systems and loop coil detectors.

  • There is no electromechanical ticket dispenser and therefore the reliability of the system is improved.
  • Improves site security by verifying captured images if and when un-expected events occur.
  • There are no tickets issued so the system is more eco-friendly and saves cost on tickets too.
  • The system allows for additional camera to detect stolen vehicles thus providing better security.
  • As the system has a high degree of automation, it also provides savings on man-power and ensures good accountability of collection.
  • Reduction of season pass hardware and the ticket dispenser also means that the life span of the system can be extended. The system has lesser ageing equipment factor and investment can be spread over more years.
